The Department of Child and Family Studies explores the development through human life from an ecological point of view, illuminates the dynamics of family relations in relation to social change, focuses on the development process of human beings in terms of psychology, education, and sociology It was established in 1973 to systematically study and educate leaders for academic research and practice that encompasses the family, society, and culture surrounding children. The purpose of the undergraduate education is to acquire a broad basic knowledge of children and families and to provide field experiences that enable them to grow as specialists in development, infant education and child care, counseling and family.
