Physiotherapy graduates perform, on their own or in collaboration with other health figures, the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation interventions in the areas of motor skills, superior cortical functions and visceral ones resulting from pathological events, with various etiology, congenital or acquired . Graduates in Physiotherapy, in reference to the diagnosis and prescriptions of the doctor within their skills, develop, even in a multidisciplinary team, the definition of the rehabilitation program aimed at identifying and overcoming the need for health of the disabled person; they autonomously practice therapeutic activities for the functional re-education of motor, psychomotor and cognitive disabilities using physical, manual, massotherapeutic and occupational therapies; propose the adoption of prostheses and aids, they train it for use and verify its effectiveness; verify the responses of the rehabilitative methodology implemented to the objectives of functional recovery; they carry out educational, didactic and professional consultancy activities in health services and in those where their professional skills are required; they carry out their professional activity in public or private health facilities, either as dependent or freelance.
