The undergraduate program in nutrition gives access to the OPDQ's license. Since nutrition is particularly broad, studies focus on a wide range of topics. We can distinguish in nutrition different axes or fields: 1-Basic nutrition, which focuses on the biological processes surrounding the use of nutrients in cells, tissues of the body. 2-Preventive nutrition and clinical nutrition, which focus on the particular nutritional needs of healthy or sick individuals. 3-Public nutrition, focusing on the nutritional health of populations, which covers community and international nutrition and the links between nutrition and the food and pharmaceutical industry. 4-The management of nutrition-related services and programs is another area of study, as it is also part of the scope of practice of nutritionists.
