Pediatric Nursing graduates are health professionals who are responsible for providing pediatric health care in accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Health of 17 January 1997, n. 70 and subsequent amendments. Pediatric nursing assistance may be preventive, curative, palliative, or rehabilitative and is of a technical, relational, and educational nature. The main responsibilities of a pediatric nurse are disease prevention, the care of sick and disabled children, and health education. Graduates in pediatric nursing participate in the identification of the physical and psychological health care needs of newborns, children, and adolescents. They identify pediatric nursing health care needs and determine the related health care objectives.
