This is a multidisciplinary course (block) integrating topics in basic and applied clinical anatomy, histology, embryology, and physiology. Help student acquire the relevant knowledge relating to basic understanding of the normal body function and control systems. Prepare the student for long-term understanding of normal body function and through this knowledge be able to understand disease states in the future. Prepare the students to describe the general aspects of anatomy including basic terminology, body planes, movements, organization of nervous system, classification of basic tissues, and classification of bones and joints and early stages of human development.
