The Department of Toxicology ''Academician Danilo Soldatovi '' in its long tradition deals with the study of poisons, of which the following areas should be highlighted: metal toxicology, pesticide toxicology; drug addiction; mechanisms of toxicity; poisoning therapy and prophylaxis; analytical toxicology; ecotoxicology and human and environmental risk assessment.'
