This program is tailored to respond to job market opportunities in heal th communication in Lebanon and the Middle East and North Africa (M ENA) region, filling a major educational gap. More importantly, this Program will provide the first batch of health communication professionals whose expertise is needed to help in addressing the pressing health needs in the region. Health communication is one of the growing public health sub-disciplines. It is based on the use of multiple behavioral and social learning theories and models to advance program planning and identify steps to influence audience attitudes toward health and health behavior.
