BS Dentistry

Dentistry is the branch of medicine concerned with the study, prevention and diagnosis of diseases, disorders and conditions affecting the teeth, jawbones, mouth and oral tissues. It is thought that dental surgery was the first specialised form of medicine, with the history of dentistry stretching back to 7000 BC. Nowadays, oral diseases have a high incidence rate and are prevalent across the globe, making this branch of medicine more necessary than ever.
