BA in Medieval Studies

With the Middle Ages studies, the University of Hamburg offers a minor subject that is unique in Germany: It is aimed specifically at undergraduate students who are interested in the fascinating world of life of the European Middle Ages in all its facets. The minor subject opens the possibility to approach this epoch from the perspective of two different, individually selected disciplines. At the same time, the Middle Ages studies convey the basic methodological knowledge of the two disciplines, thereby encouraging them to think and research across traditional boundaries.
