An undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation provides professional preparation for people seeking a career as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Students will develop a broad range of technical, analytical and communication skills to address the needs of clients in a clinical rehabilitation setting. Students will develop skills in exercise pre-rehabilitation and rehabilitation design to prevent and manage chronic disease/injury in cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and metabolic conditions. The Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation has been accredited by Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply for membership as an Exercise Scientist and accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist. Graduates can expect to find employment as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist working in the public and private health sectors and as part of a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team.
