BA in Womens Studies

The Women's Studies Program at Carson Newman is designed to offer students the opportunity to earn an Interdisciplinary Minor in Women's Studies. Through this program students are encouraged to study women and gender in different cultures and time periods. Our program seeks to integrate questions of race, class and gender and to approach these from a global perspective. The program allows students to gain an historical perspective on the roles which women have played in societies around the world and across time.
