Duke offers a wide range of courses designed to train you in the languages and cultures of Russia and Central and Eastern Europe and the cultures and history of Turkey, and Central Asia. The curriculum ranges from nineteenth-century Russian literature to contemporary Polish cinema, twentieth-century Eastern European cultures to Islamic cultures in Eurasia. Our extensive language offerings include six years of Russian, three years of Polish, and two years of Romanian.
