BA in Slavic Studies East Slavic Studies

The Slavic Studies course provides sound basic knowledge and skills in relation to the language, literature and culture of the respective Slavic countries in their historical and current manifestations. In the core subject of Eastern Slavic Studies, you will study Russian and another Slavic language (Czech or Polish or Bulgarian or Serbian / Croatian). You will study Russian in the additional subject of Eastern Slavic Studies. In Jena, you can also study Slavic Studies with a focus on South Slavic Studies (core or supplementary subject) or West Slavic Studies (supplementary subject).
