Bachelor in Foreign Languages and Literature

The mission of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature for the undergraduate students is to foster students' critical ability to integrate what they have learned and adapt themselves to the ever-changing world, and at the same time preparing themselves for possible academic careers. The purpose of the Department's graduate programs aims at fashioning successful academics and research talents. The Department provides its students with basic and advanced training in English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, and Russian, and thereby enhances their proficiency in the foreign languages aforementioned.
