Additionally, you have the chance to complete a study period overseas in an Arabic speaking country such as Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia or Morocco (to mention but a few). These are only some of the modules that you will have the opportunity to study during your degree: Women in contemporary Arab society, Classical Islamic history: Al-Andalus and the Maghreb, Al-Andalus literature, Islamic law, Arab cinema, Contemporary Arabic literature, Sociological studies of the contemporary Arab world, Contemporary Spanish language: norms and usage, Contemporary Arab thought.
