The International Bachelor Program History, Languages and Cultures of the Middle East teaches basic knowledge about history and present, cultures, religions and languages of the target region. The main goal of the study is to acquire the ability to analyze complex historical and cultural contexts and to be able to reflect and classify current events. The acquisition of good passive and active language skills in at least one of the main languages of the Middle East (Persian, Arabic or Turkish) and basic knowledge of up to two other languages / language varieties is an integral part of the course.
