Against the background of increasingly important relations with Eastern Europe, which are becoming increasingly important with a view to the EU's eastward enlargement, students will have the opportunity to focus on the changing circumstances in a concentrated and comprehensive way through the postgraduate course Eastern European Studies. The courses deal with culture, history, politics, law, economics and geography of Eastern Europe. The courses on offer range from the transfer of historical basic knowledge to dealing with questions of the transformation of legal systems, the transformation of the political landscape and the integration of Eastern European states into political, economic and military organizations as well as numerous cultural science and language courses.
