The Degree Course in Geological Sciences is devoid of curricula and is built for access to the world of work or higher level studies. In addition to providing knowledge in mathematics, physics and chemistry (indispensable for describing and interpreting phenomena and geological processes in a quantitative way), the Course provides a block of compulsory courses covering all disciplines of Earth Sciences (physical geography and geomorphology, palaeontology, mineralogy, geology, petrography, geochemistry, applied geology and geophysics).
