Environmental problems and their immense impact on the ground, the air, water, forests, and landscapes are currently in the public eye more than ever before. Thus, experts in environmental natural sciences are increasingly called upon to make sense of the complex interactions within ecosystems and their relation to human actions. The course of study in Environmental Natural Sciences is an interdisciplinary program that provides a solid grounding in the foundations of natural science (mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology) as well as the ability to understand and analyze environmental processes.
