BA in Linguistics and Phonetics

In the linguistics and phonetics course, you will deal with all aspects of human language: with the structure of individual languages and with language comparison, both in terms of word and sentence structure as well as in terms of sound systems and speech melody. You will acquire knowledge of language history and language change, as well as the function of language in society, and learn to understand linguistic phenomena using descriptive and experimental methods. During your training, you will develop skills for analyzing, reconstructing and modeling language.
