Bachelor of Arts Honours in English Language and Literature and Psychology

The English Language and Literature and Psychology combined program is offered jointly by our English and Psychology departments to allow students to explore facets of both areas. Our Psychology courses cover such topics as: memory, motivation, and decision making; how the attitudes and actions of other people influence us; the origins and treatment of mental illness; human development from birth to death; and the way our cultural backgrounds shape the way we think and behave. Our large and small lectures, seminars, and discussion groups offer opportunities for active learning, and for participation in field settings.
