BA Creative Writing

The Asbury University English Department prepares students to engage with the written word in a variety of contexts. At Asbury University you can study literature, creative writing, teaching English at the high school and middle school levels, and teaching English as a second language.The department s English major is based around a classic core of literature courses, while allowing for a wide range of elective courses and special topic seminars. Its Creative Writing major focuses on fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The English Grades 8-12 major prepares students for certification for teaching English at the high school and middle school levels.
