BSc Biological Environmental Systems Engineering

The focus of teaching and research in this department includes two major areas - Water and Soil Resources Engineering and Eco-environmental Planning. The department provides an extremely wide range of teaching programs, in particular, this department is responsible for hosting the ecological engineering program of Taiwan University to integrate the academic theory and practice in the field of ecology and engineering. The teachers of this department are actively involved in research work. Each year, they receive ample research funding sponsored by the National Science Council, the Executive Yuan Agricultural Committee, the Water Resources Agency, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Water Conservancy Association, and the Engineering Consultancy Company.
