The School directly overseas, the management and operations of three research centres: the institutes for advanced machinery and design, the engineering research centre for micro-thermal system, and the institute for next generation automotive technology. national creative research initiative centres for nano-particle control, turbulence and flow control , and multiscale design, have also been established within the school.
