Development, selection and processing of materials are central to any engineering advancement. Trained manpower at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in materials engineering is very important for the industrial growth of the country. Intention is towards building a UG programme in Materials Engineering at DMSE to help in grooming the students for the sectors that require such expertise in the development of our country.
