BS Industrial Technology

The industrial technology program prepares technical- and/or management-oriented professionals for employment in business, industry, education, and government whose duties and responsibilities primarily involve the management, operation, and maintenance of complex technological systems. The curriculum has a strong emphasis in management, which allows the graduate to function well in either technical or decision-making career fields. Students develop a combination of technical, business and communication skills that allow them to succeed and lead in their respective disciplines. Our industrial technology program offers eight different concentrations, six of which can be completed entirely online. Concentrations include information and computer technology, industrial supervision, manufacturing systems, distribution and logistics, bioprocess manufacturing, health information technologies, architectural technology and mechanical technology.
