Graduates in the degree course in Computer Engineering at the end of the educational path must know adequately the methodological-operational aspects of mathematics and other basic sciences and be able to use this knowledge to interpret and describe engineering problems in order to possess the basic cognitive tools for the continuous updating of one's knowledge. They must also adequately know the methodological-operational aspects of the sciences of both engineering in general and those relating to the area of computer engineering and more generally in the information area.
