BEng Civil Engineering

Civil engineering deals with the design, construction, management and control of infrastructures (bridges, roads, tunnels, dams, water networks) and civil and industrial buildings. It is a discipline in strong evolution where ''traditional'' knowledge and methodologies are integrated with innovative techniques, with the use of new materials and with the inalienable attention to the issues of environmental impact, sustainability and energy saving. The operators involved must therefore have multidisciplinary skills and the ability to collaborate within working groups.'
