The Teaching Emphasis will give you a solid grounding in literature, linguistics and writing. You ll also take a sequence of courses in education that culminate in a semester-long student teaching internship. With the Teaching Emphasis, you ll be ready to teach at the high school level, but you ll also be well prepared for a variety of other careers.
