Bachelor of Science and Master of Teaching Secondary

Flinders offers fully integrated five-year qualifications for high-achieving students that enable you to graduate with a Master of Teaching on top of a bachelor degree. Education topics are studied in all five years of the double degree together with topics in at least two broad science areas in the first three years. In the final years you study topics from the Master of Teaching. In addition to your Bachelor/Master of Teaching you can also complete a Master of Education with a minimum of an additional semester of study. The Bachelor of Science/Master of Teaching (Secondary) will provide you with the background and skills necessary to teach science in secondary schools. You will also have the opportunity to gain professional experience as a student teacher in the secondary school environment.
