You ll learn by exploring real issues facing education today, asking questions such as: Do children have too few or too many rights Is the national curriculum relevant or outdated Can ability ever be accurately measured We ll analyse and debate these issues together, drawing on ideas from a wide range of disciplines including sociology, psychology, history and politics. During your degree, you ll complete two professional work placements in an educational setting. Linking what you ve learnt to educational practice, you ll gain vital experience that will prepare you for a professional role in education or teacher training.
