BEd Higher Teaching at Vocational Schools German

The Program German consists of a scientific and a didactic part. In the subject-specific part of the study, modern German literature, medieval studies and linguistics are studied. Modern German literature deals with German literature from the early modern period to the present day. It conveys literary and cultural-historical knowledge and the methodology of literary-scientific interpretation. Medieval Studies represents the medieval part of German literature and linguistic history (the development of the German language from Old High German to New High German).
