Bachelors in Area Studies

Territorial studies are an interdisciplinary program with a strong background in modern history as a basis for understanding the basic contexts of the contemporary world. The program covers the northern hemisphere with a focus on North America, Europe and Eurasia, as well as developments in Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Pacific region and the Mediterranean. From a chronological point of view it follows events from the 19th century to the present with an emphasis on the period after 1945.
