Information and Documentation studies have their origin in the famous Higher Diplomatic School, which from the mid-19th century to 1900 specifically trained the professionals of the Corps of Archivists and Librarians, and they were integrated into the University.there is specific training for Documentation professionals, experts in Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centers.The basic objective of the Information and Documentation Graduate is to train professionals capable of selecting, managing, organizing and preserving documentation and information so that it can be used by third parties regardless of the place where it is deposited or its format and support.
