BA in Information Management and Information Technology

The program concentrates on questions of information management and information technologies. It conveys the essential technical and organizational foundations for the development, storage, mediation, presentation, search and analysis of information and knowledge in all its manifestations. This includes in particular the following topics: database and information systems, information modeling, information analysis, content management systems, social aspects of information science, digital libraries, fundamentals of the information economy and electronic media.
