Description
The degree course in Computer Engineering and Automation aims to train graduates with specific skills in the field of Informatic Engineering or Automatic Engineering. In the first case, these skills concern the analysis, design and management of computer hardware / software systems and of various types of IT applications (for example, company information systems, systems for the automation of services, systems and applications based on Internet and World Wide Web, data analysis systems, network infrastructures) in various service and production sectors. In the second case, the skills acquired concern the analysis and design of systems operating autonomously, such as robotic, air and space navigation systems, automatic systems for the production and management of goods, services and environmental resources, systems for analysis, control in biomedical applications. In addition to these skills, the graduate in Computer Engineering and Automation has a solid background in both basic sciences (mathematics, physics) and engineering sciences, which allows him to interact with specialists in all fields of engineering and economic-management area, in particular with other professional figures in the information sector.
