BS Computer Information Systems

The BS degree in CIS provides a sound foundation in information technology principles and practice enabling our students to find a variety of employment opportunities. The emphasis is on applications of information technologies supporting business needs, rather than the computer itself. Students earning a BS in CIS can develop skills in web and application development, systems analysis and design, database management, and IT project management. Students are encouraged to include general business, computer art, as well as many other topics in support of developing a well-rounded study of the information technology field in the application in of solutions for today s business needs.
