MBiol Hons Biology

The MBiol degree is a flexible, integrated four-year undergraduate Masters course. This allows you to combine a balanced understanding of key concepts in the biological sciences with a deeper understanding of aspects of the discipline that interest you most. You will develop the ability to adapt and apply methodologies to solve biological problems, along with a critical awareness of advances at the forefront of the science. A significant element of the course is the Masters level project that provides the opportunity to pursue an extended piece of original research, independently or in cooperation with an external organisation.
