The Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management offers exciting options for students interested in business careers. Marketing is the study of consumer needs and desires for products and services. It is also the study of the various strategies used to motivate people to buy products and services. Marketing students take courses that prepare them for careers involving retailing, negotiation/selling, international marketing, and new product development. Internships can greatly facilitate the job search process and prepare students for their first jobs. Students are strongly encouraged to do an internship. A Marketing student graduates with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Advanced degrees include Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy. Students can also minor in Marketing.
