The major in Organizational Sciences aims to create in students an understanding of and capacity to apply theories, concepts, and tools to address questions and problems in Organizational Sciences, including a comprehensive understanding of organizational effectiveness. Students learn about the interdisciplinary nature of the field and are exposed to foundational concepts including statistics, research methods, ethics, and related social and behavioral science topics. The program prepares students to be able to analyze and solve problems by synthesizing information and demonstrating a systemic understanding of the relationship between the individual, organization, and environment.
