The Master of Science (MS), a departmental degree, is a research-oriented educational program in a specialty area within a broad field of public health. Both thesis and non-thesis program tracks are available.Admission Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution and acceptance by a department within the College of Public Health.Students interested in a non-thesis MS program must take and satisfactorily complete a comprehensive oral and/or written examination, authorized by the Dean of the Graduate College and administered by the candidate's sponsoring department.
