This programme is targetted at those students seeking a career working as a sport scientist in performance sport. The course addresses the core disciplines of physiology, nutrition, psychology, biomechanics, performance analysis and research methods applied to sport, integrated with the development of essential practitioner skills and competencies. During each year students will gain experience in sports performance settings to further develop their knowledge and delivery, as well as the opportunity to gain additional professional qualifications pertinent to the needs of both the student and applied sports sector.
