MFA in Fine Arts develop the formal, intellectual, and conceptual aspects of their art and acquire the professional knowledge and experience necessary to make a career as a visual artist. The curriculum combines studio, theory, and professional practice classes for students working in a wide range of media, such as performance, sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, installation, and video. Students have access to a variety of exhibition venues in New York City and to fellowships and residencies through faculty and institutional networks.
