BSc in Business Administration

Economic decisions today are influenced by many different factors, which is why the curriculum of the Bachelor of Business Administration in Hamburg is versatile and closely linked to other disciplines such as mathematics, psychology and law. The degree program teaches the theoretical foundations of business administration (accounting, balance sheets, investment, financing, business management, production & logistics, private business law, microeconomics and macroeconomics, etc.) and business administration methods (mathematics, statistics, etc.) to enable students independently analyze and solve economic issues in professional life. The degree program provides insight into business decisions at a strategic, organizational and analytical level. The goal is that students acquire the ability to independently apply business knowledge and the ability to act responsibly in business and administration. In the third year of study, students can focus on one of eight main areas (including finance and insurance, marketing and media or corporate governance).
