MA Political Theory

The Master s programme in Political Theory, created by Goethe Universit t Frankfurt and Technische Universit t Darmstadt, is the first degree of its kind in Germany. Students attend lectures at, and are tutored by, both universities, which also jointly award the academic degree. The Master s programme in Political Theory teaches the theoretical knowledge and academic skills necessary for a comprehensive analysis of the current political situation and its dynamics. Thus ideas of justice, democracy and power are confronted by the world s current problems, which are becoming increasingly complex.
