History and geography are cooperative disciplines in regards to academic research The aim is for students to have a synthesized timerelated and spacerelated awareness as their knowledge base Students who major in history are encouraged to carry a minor in geography, and students who major in geography are encouraged to carry a minor in history Graduates will be able to accurately interpret the historical evolution that has led to the simultaneous globalization and localization in our modern society
