The MA program offers both course and thesis options. The course option can be completed in one year of full-time study while the thesis option can be completed in two years. While the Department offers graduate supervision in a variety of areas, most of our recent graduate students have been involved in twentieth-century and contemporary literature and in Canadian literature, including the literature of Newfoundland and Labrador.
