B.F.A. in Musical Theatre Concentration

Introductory course in the construction or patterning of theatrical garments, with topic rotating on alternating years. Construction-focused class may focus on cutting, pattern alterations, machine and hand sewing techniques, and creating complete garments for stage. Pattern-focused class may focus on the fundamentals of draping, flat patterning, and translating a 2D theatrical rendering to a realized garment pattern.
