BM in Music theory and composition

The Bachelor of Music composition and lyrics formation with deep study of theory, it is a professional degree, and is the most concentrated curriculum of our degree offerings. It is focused on music skill development, history and analysis, with courses in your area of specialization taken in your latter semesters. This degree also requires passing a ten minute juried performance, called the Upper Divisional Exam, performed in front of the School of Music faculty, and usually taken at the end of the spring semester of your sophomore year
