Bachelor of Music Education

BME students generally choose instrumental or vocal music as their area of emphasis. In addition to in-depth study in the student' major applied area, the program provides comprehensive coursework in the various aspects of music education: conducting, teaching methods, and development of proficiency in woodwind, brass, string, piano, voice, and percussion instruments. Students explore and develop teaching skills through early field experiences in classrooms.
